Dr. Rajeev Gupta is a Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist and faculty at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, Pennsylvania, USA. He is triple Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Internal Medicine. His areas of interest include lung cancer, COPD, interstitial lung disease. He performs and trains other physicians in complicated procedures such as navigational bronchoscopy, Endo Bronchial US(EBUS) and also management of rare diseases like cystic fibrosis, LAM among other. His inspiration for pursuing medicine came from his grandfather who always sought to improve care for those in need.
After he completed his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) New Delhi, India he pursued further academic excellence at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University / Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD, USA. He then trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
When he is not taking care of his patients, he spends time with his 2 young boys gardening and building things. He has an expert in critical care and specialises in bronchoscopy and EBUS. He also specialises in lung cancers management.
